Katie Button, a James Beard award nominee, is the executive chef and co-owner of Cúrate Tapas Bar and Nightbell in Asheville. Named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs, Katie honed her craft in the kitchens of some of the world’s finest culinarians, most notably Ferran Adria and Jose Andres. She recently released her first cookbook, “Cúrate: Authentic Spanish Food from an American Kitchen,” celebrating her love of Spain and Southern heritage.

Ask Chef Button your burning questions and get insider tips for recreating Spanish dishes with local seasonal ingredients. Come home with a signed copy of her new cookbook.

Join area potters Scott and Bobbie Thomas of Thomas Pottery as they share the details behind their creations.

Chef Dinner with Katie Button
Join us for a delectable journey to Spain with Chef Katie Button. The three-course menu will reflect Button’s cooking philosophy of weaving local and regional ingredients into Spanish recipes and techniques. By thoughtfully combining the two worlds, she ends up with something extremely unique but firmly rooted in Spanish tradition.
